My opinions about male chauvinism V.S feminism/female chauvinism.

Chauvinism came from a soldier name Nicolas Chauvin. Nicolas was very blind worship of Napoleon's war talent. Therefore, he was very proud of the country he was born and despised the other nations.
Posterity is used to refer to non-rational and narrow-minded patriotism. Today we used to refering to arrogance, and extreme negativism, like male chauvinism, and cultural chauvinism. Chauvinism is a form of discrimination. --Quoted from Wikipedia--
I don't like Chauvinism. In my opinion, everyone is unique, a person who is more superior than anyone else. Unfortunately, man directs the society perhaps more than 80% in earth and cause the male chauvinism development. Let's focus on Taiwan. Anytime in local news we usually hear about  a man who tries to bully a female, and thus arouse social opinions on TV talk shows to newspapers. However, the point is many people are accustomed.

First of all, take a look around our lives. We hear much about how men contempt women. In my case, my boyfriend is such a male chauvinistic person. In some aspects, I am superior to him, which makes him unhappy. In the other hand, he's also a paternalist; it means he's a selfish person. He believes that women should deal house chores and jobs. The only thing he needs to do is concentrate on making money to support the family. Is the only role women is cook and take care of children? What nonsense!! Women actually can do better than men. Secondly, today many women are in a high level positions in their career; they can tale control very well between their job and family. Nevertheless, I'm not a supporter of feminism, I just think something is not only for men, women can do even better than men. Briefly, it's all came from competition between people but not gender inequity. It's because male directs whole society and it causes the issue of gender equality. What if today men and women swap the role and society is entirely by women to lead? Isn't it triggered the same issue?

People often say gender equality. However, how could we define what is equality when we are doubtfully? As men and women are physically different, it's already unequal. Even though, men have a good sense of balance better than women, in flexibility, men are worse than women. Men can do a lot of movements that women are unable to reach. Relatively, women's lightweight brings dexterity that men unmatched. Therefore, what's difference in gender issue when men and female swap the role?

My understanding of gender egalitarianism is not very thorough. I believe gender egalitarianism is based on respect each other. Although people have huge difference between age. sex, and physical appearances, but all we need is be respects. It'll bring better improvement and it's a main factor that whole society can keep working.
